As the temperatures drop and the holiday season approaches, compassion is in full swing here in Macon. The Mentors Project of Bibb County, along with community friends, is coming together to host “Neighbors Without Addresses,” a heartfelt outreach event dedicated to supporting our unhoused neighbors.
On Thursday, November 20th from 2–4 PM, DePaul Daybreak will open its doors for a coat giveaway and Thanksgiving meal, ensuring that individuals facing housing insecurity receive warmth, nourishment, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
Guests will be able to pick out a warm coat just in time for winter and enjoy a full Thanksgiving-style plate, complete with all the comforting favorites of the season. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a moment of dignity, care, and community connection.
This event embodies the true meaning of Thanksgiving: showing gratitude through generosity and love.
